| Alan Brown

The founder and principal engineer of our firm. Alan is a Chartered Professional Engineer with more than 43 years experience in Civil and Structural Engineering and Accident Reconstruction, including 27 years with local authorities and 16 years as a consulting engineer. While experienced in a range of engineering fields, he has special competence in relation to accident reconstruction, road and drainage engineering and road safety matters. Alan has been qualified to give expert testimony in the Land & Environment Court, Local Court, District Court and Supreme Court of New South Wales.

| Andrew Brown

A Chartered Professional Engineer with more than 16 years experience in Civil Engineering and Accident Reconstruction. While experienced in a range of engineering fields, he has special competence in relation to accident reconstruction, road and drainage engineering and road safety matters. Andrew has also undertaken specialist training in 3D Animation.
Andrew is currently Chairman of the Bathurst Regional Group of the Institution of Engineers, Australia.

Duncan Brown
|
Manager of our image editing and animation facilities. Duncan is an Engineering Technologist with special training in Accident Reconstruction techniques. In 1997 he successfully completed advanced training 3D Studio MAX at an Authorised KINETIX Training Facility.

In addition, Civil & Forensic has a number of experts that are utilised on a case by case basis to supplement our full-time staff or to provide expertise in other specialist areas. Some of the additional areas of expertise offered by our associate experts includes mechanical inspections, vehicle maintenance practices, workshop safety and more. If you have need of an expert in other areas please contact us - we may have an expert on staff or be able to refer you to a suitable expert.
